Learn and practice unique shaping and spine-creation methods to consistently create crisp, beautiful Microbladed brows. We have refined and perfected these methods over years, thousands of hours of client work, and training with Master artists around the world. Microblading classes at J Wood Academy are exclusively taught by Jamie Wood. We offer classes in either English or Spanish (Español).

Our classes are for both beginners looking to jump-start their permanent makeup careers, and for experienced artists looking to learn new skills and perfect their techniques. Classes are small, generally 1-4 students, so that the instructor can work directly with each student and make sure each student understands the material and techniques. No student is left behind.

We teach through hands-on learning, meaning we break down techniques step-by-step and practice each a lot. More importantly we teach our students how to practice correctly. This is so our students can take what they learn, continue to practice on their own, and commit the techniques to muscle memory. All of our courses culminate in working on a Live Model under close supervision and guidance from the instructor.

After the course, our students receive continued support.

2-Day Microblading – Group Training (English and Spanish)
Start off learning Fundamentals like sanitation, color theory, skin theory, depth theory, tray setup, supplies used, tools and how to use them, etc. Followed by learning and practicing Microblading-specific techniques that are broken down step-by-step building upon each other, developing muscle memory, and good shaping and shading habits. Students learn business-specific skills like marketing, photography and editing, business requirements, etc. The class ends with the Live Model training where the students work closely with the instructor. Live Model is provided by the instructor.

This course is everything you need to jump-start your career in Microblading!

1-Day Private 1-on-1 Microblading Training (English and Spanish) is also offered for artists who already understand fundamentals and want maximize their time jumping straight into practicing and perfecting techniques and live-model training.

You will receive a certificate upon completion of each course.
